Bellami Hair Extensions to Meet Your Needs

Five guests with five types of extensions from Bellami Hair. All installed and styled by our professional team of hair extensionists. Read on for details.

  1. Bellami Tape-In Extensions

WHO: Heidi K., Corporate Lawyer
WHAT: Tape-in extensions are applied using medical-grade adhesive to ‘sandwich’ the natural hair between two wefts of Bellami hair.
WHY TAPE-INS?
Heidi’s extensionist used the tape-in extension method because it allowed for maximal coverage while still laying flat to Heidi’s head. Heidi does not mind the maintenance of tape-ins, which require her to visit the salon every four to six weeks, depending on her natural hair growth cycle. She likes that the hair is reusable; at each maintenance visit her extensionist simply removes the tape-in extensions, and re-attaches the adhesive closer to the scalp.

2. Bellami K-Tip Extensions

WHO: Stephanie L., Fitness model & business owner
WHAT: K-Tips, aka Keratin protein tips, are individual extensions applied to the natural hair using a hot fusion technique. They use a silicone additive to help protect strands from damage by creating a coating, while allowing for free movement and a naturally layered texture.
WHY K-TIPS?
As a fitness model and mother, Stephanie has an extremely active lifestyle and wanted a quick and easy install. Her extensionist used K-tips so that Stephanie can easily throw her hair up into a pony tail or bun, and can have her colour services done in-between extensions services. K-Tips are the most durable extensions so you can easily colour over top of them, sweat to your heart’s desire, and more!

3. Bellami I-Tip Extensions

WHO: Robyn J., Owner of Raw by Robyn
WHAT: I-Tips are individual extensions applied strand by strand for maximum versatility and movement. They are installed without using heat or glue; each I-Tip is threaded with a strand of the guest’s hair through a bead and then attached by clamping the bead to the hair.
WHY I-TIPS?
Robyn has tried K-tips, braidless weaves (see #5 on this list), and is now using I-Tips. Like Stephanie, she has an active lifestyle and wanted something that made it easy for her to put her hair up. However, her extensionist knows that Robyn likes to change her mind; I-Tips can be removed easily and are re-usable, unlike K-Tips which are permanently bonded to the hair until removed by a professional.

4. Bellami Weft Extensions (AKA Braidless Weave)

WHO: Amy Z., Server
WHAT: Wefts are installed by creating a beaded foundation and sewing in the weft extensions for voluminous full coverage. This method allows for easy removal and reapplication to the guest’s hair.
WHY WEFT?
Amy used to install clip-in extensions to her hair every day; she likes her length but has always desired more fullness for her bob. Her stylist decided that the braidless weave was her ideal option because it gave her the most amount of hair coverage all over instantly to complement her natural hair texture.

5. Bellami Clip-In Extensions

WHO: Tivona B., stylist at Hedkandi Hotel Arts.
WHAT: Bellami Clip-in extensions are a temporary application method that can be applied and removed daily.
WHY CLIP-INS?
Tivona was not ready to commit to extensions that would need to be maintained in the salon, so clip-ins were a perfect option that allow her look to be as versatile as she is!
